Eton Analytical is part of the Eton Group providing laboratory services for the identification of asbestos in bulk samples, soils, sediments and sludges.   Fully accredited by UKAS to ISO17025 Eton Analytical can analyse samples and report rapidly and accurately in accordance with the official guidance document HSG248.

Eton Analytical also participates in the Asbestos in Materials Scheme (AIMS) which is a regular proficiency testing scheme run by the Health and Safety Laboratory (HSL) which is an agency of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The scheme assesses the ability of a laboratory to identify asbestos types in a range of bulk materials. Eton Analytical has had continuous success under the AIMS scheme.

  • Asbestos was incorporated into Artex, wall boards, sink pads, floor tiles ... even the bitumen adhesive they were stuck down with... the only way you can be sure of content is to have a sample analysed
  • All non-domestic premises are covered by CAR 2012 and must have a suitable asbestos assessment
